฿39 food court at The Street Ratchada

A new food court just opened at the shopping mall The Street Ratchada in mid-October. It’s called KINNIE PLAYNiE FOOD COURT, meaning “eat here, play here,” but what everyone’s talking about is their low price point of ฿39 for any dish.

Here’s why it’s priced that way and what sort of food you can expect to find there.

One low price for everything

There are plenty of offices along Ratchadaphisek Road. If your offices are located near the trendy mall The Street Ratchada then the new KINNIE PLAYNiE FOOD COURT is the perfect choice to help you cut down on monthly costs while not sacrificing on quality and taste.

That’s because every dish at the food court on the mall’s 4th floor will costs you only ฿39. If you’re a 90s kid like me, then this’ll remind you of the days when street food used to cost around this amount before it jumped to around 60-80 where it is now.

The reason for this price point? The people behind the food court want to help office workers on their lunch break, or looking for a meal after work, to cut down on their costs.

Tons of choice

And they didn’t sacrifice variety to offer this low price point either. The food court will feature around 30 shops and over 200 items.

Many popular street restaurants have made their home here like Kha Moo Nakhon Pathom (ขาหมูนครปฐม), Liang Phochana (เหลียงโภชนา), among many others.

So if you’re looking for rat na (ราดหน้า), char siu, or chicken rice, then you’ll find what you’re craving here for that nice and low price.

Tasty budget-friendly meals at The Street Ratchada’s new food court

Even for people who make good money will do a double take at the killer ฿39 price point. This makes the new food court is an attractive option for a quick lunch break. Don’t forget its huge variety either!

Give this one a try if you’re an officer worker in the area or if your trip needs a tasty budget meal.
