The Thai National Book Fair is one of the best opportunities to get great deals on books in Bangkok. The fair starts on 30 March 2023 and concludes on 9 April 2023. You won’t want to miss this if you’re looking to upskill or are just looking for some good fun from books.

Great deals on books at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center

It’s commonly thought that Thais don’t read all that much. With how packed it gets at the fair, you’re sure to think otherwise.

This year, the fair is sponsored by the Japanese e-book store BookWalker, so you can expect many manga and light novel fans there.

Besides the huge selection of entertaining books, you can also expect to find sales on books that’ll give you that extra edge at school or at work.

Each booth at the fair has its own promotion going, but you can expect deals from 10% off to as high as 70% off. Many will also have freebies attached to larger purchases, so be on the lookout for those.

Improve your Chinese and Korean at the fair’s educational seminars

In addition to the booth area and stage area, there will also be educational seminars in the convention center’s meeting rooms.

Thai publisher SE-ED is organizing an in-depth look into taking the Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK) with the Korean Education Center in room MR207 on the morning of 4 April. This is then followed up with a seminar on the importance of words with multiple meanings in Chinese in the afternoon.
