From the moment you enter Rush B, you know you’re in for a good time. Everything is laid out for you – from the game consoles to the bar counter for snacks and the board games. Honestly sis, you’ll be spoilt for choice.
There’s a snooker table – a good ol’ crowd favourite. But what surprised us was how it was later flipped into the battlefield for our very competitive air hockey session. Yep, that’s the same table fam.
Tucked away in the corner are also the various Ps4 machines and a Wii Kinect. So if you’re looking for a weekly dose of healthy competition with your date or your friends, nothing bonds two people more than a few rounds of Overcooked.
These smiles were there throughout most of the games we played – no we mean, really. 🙂
With so many activities to try – including board game options which we’ll touch on in a bit – you’ll really never run out of things to do here. And of course, after trying all of these activities out, we had to do what we truly came here for.
Unlimited rounds of laser tag with your friends
As for Rush B’s star attraction, it’s gotta be this elaborate neon-lit arena for laser tag – where you can enjoy unlimited rounds of games with your friends throughout the day.
The staff will go through a safety briefing before the games begin and also facilitate in splitting participants into groups – where you can make new friends and charge towards your victory in the arena.
The arena is decorated with trippy LED lights and the laser guns we tried were weighty and reactive. It was definitely an adrenaline-filled immersive experience that made me feel like I was on a special ops mission.
A wide selection of board games available
If laser tag isn’t your thing, there are plenty of board games and card games to choose from. If you’re uncertain of what game to play or try, just ask the staff for some recommendations and they’d love to help you out based on your preferences.
Just like us, about half an hour into an intense, cerebral Detective Club game, is where we predict that your snack cravings may hit. But don’t fret. There’s a food bar stacked with all manner of snacks like instant noodles, Pocky sticks and ice cream which you can get at pretty affordable prices.
Getting to Rush B in Bangkok
After spending nearly half a day at Rush B, our team knows that we’ve only barely scraped the tip of the iceberg here.
For its price of entry at ฿400 (~USD11), it definitely packs a punch and a whole lotta fun for anyone who decides to visit for the day. So if you find yourself in the city, be sure to bookmark this spot for something a little different and come visit with your friends.
