The Kaset Fair is one of Thailand’s most lively and popular fairs. It’s organized by the prestigious Kasetsart University, who are known for their agricultural studies. So if you expected entire sections dedicated to Thai agriculture, you’d be very happy to find stalls dedicated to agricultural technology, gardening, as well as fresh produce straight from farmers.

But of course, the star of the show remains the many exciting food stalls that’ll have all your favourite fair snacks from Thai-style toasts to traditional desserts.

There’ll also be stalls with various clothing and accessories made by local artisans.

No fair would be complete without some fun zones, and Kaset Fair will have a couple littered throughout the area.

Finally, there’ll also be various food trucks parked in the fair for some food from nomadic kitchens that are hard to catch around Bangkok.

Daily activities and events at the fair

Apart from its exciting stalls, there are also daily activities at the fair.

There are workshops for upskilling in agriculture and gardening that’ll be conducted in Thai. There’ll even be free vaccinations provided by the university’s Faculty of Veterinary Science.

If you’ve ever wondered if Thais have their farming contests, then wonder no longer because we do! At the fair, there’ll be contests for fruits, goats, as well as fish.

You can check out their full schedule here (in Thai).
