Is March a good time to visit Bangkok?
Yes! It’s always a good time to visit Bangkok, but it depends on what you’re looking for. March is when Thailand is just starting to heat up, but before all the festivities hit in April with Songkran. That’s why it’s a perfect time for people who want to appreciate the hot summer heat (that Thais certainly don’t), but without the hassle of massive crowds.
If anything, even Thais will try to avoid anything without an AC at the moment so you’ll have a lot of space to yourself if you visit in March.

Plenty to do in March, but no holidays
If you’re a visitor to Thailand, we’re jealous because all of us are stuck working all month long. We don’t mind if you join us though.
And if you’re a visitor, it’s still not to late to learn about our government’s insurance scheme that’ll help cover your Thai vacation. Or you can check out cool temple fairs throughout Thailand here.
