Thai dog seeks out an absent school buddy
When we go to school and find out that our close friend is absent on that day, we’re usually pretty sad. That’s because we can imagine how lonely it would be to hang out without them on a lunch break or after school.
However, it seems like this doesn’t happen to only us, but to doggos too. A Thai dog was caught looking for an absent student in school as he was reportedly its best buddy. It even appeared sad when it realised that the student who played with him in every morning wasn’t there.
Once the video was widely shared, many netizens came to express compassion and care for the loyal dog.

On 21st November 2022, a TikTok user @kantaphit2221 posted a video of a dog waiting and looking for its favourite student who played with it every morning in school. However, the student was reportedly absent from school that day. The OP spotted the dog looking lonely after it could not find its buddy, so he recorded a video of it due to its clearly sad expression.
After the clip was widely shared on social media, tons of netizens couldn’t help but express sympathy in the comments.

Many netizens left lovely comments for the dog and said that they understood how it felt as they would feel the same way if their friends were absent.

Understandably, friends are important parts of our lives, and the same applies to animals. When we were little students, one thing that made us enjoy going to school was the prospect of getting to hangout with our friends. Whenever our friends didn’t come to school – especially the closer ones, we would feel lonely the whole day, just like this dog.
Since it’s been a few days since the video was posted, and his buddy will return to school eventually, we hope that the best buds will reunite soon.
