It is one of the greatest Thai films that many Thais will recommend you to watch. With its love story in a school setting, you can expect a trip down memory lane that can evoke nostalgia for your own puppy love from your school years.

If you’ve watched mafia-themed Hong Kong movies such as Internal Affairs, you’ll be familiar with how the plots are intensely thrilling, always revolving around fighting and killing. However, Kung Fu Tootsie takes the trope and adds a humorous spin to it.

The film focuses on three mafia gangs waging war against each other. It all begins with Ah Tao, who lost his hand while fighting his rivals. Ah Kun, one of the gang’s members, has to find Ah Tao’s long-lost twin, Ah Tien, to strengthen their gang.

However, it turns out Ah Tien is a homosexual and not cut out to lead the gang. But as he has to step up to the plate, Ah Tien tries his best to act manly so that he can take on the role of the leader of his parents’ gang and allows himself to love Pei Pei, who is a daughter of a rival gang.

This action-comedy movie is a laugh riot from start to finish.

Do ghost movies scare you? If yes, don’t worry as this movie will tickle your funny bone instead. Oh My Ghost is unlike other scary ghost movies as it’s a comedy that features a group of transgender people fighting against a ghost in a male dormitory.

Three transgender people, aka katoey in Thai, move to a new dormitory and have to deal with two spirits who have been dead for a long time in that place. The movie presents many Thai LGBT words, swear words, as well as Thai-style LGBT aspects that will make you burst into laughter the whole time.

There are eight sequels to this movie; however, only four are available on Netflix. Personally, the continuation of the story might not matter as much as its humour, so it’s fine not to watch all eight.
