Mayu Bangkok Hotel is a hidden hotel built in the style of a Japanese traditional inn, conveniently sitting somewhere between Phrom Phong and Thonglor.

Once you enter the premises, you will feel like you’re walking in Japan itself, with a Japanese yard to welcome you to the other areas of the hotel, including a tea room and a swimming pool surrounded by trees and earthy textures like wooden sliding doors and a mini wooden bridge.

Mayu has a total of 12 rooms that are made with materials sent over from Japan: like tatami flooring and futon beds. There are several room types to choose from – twin and triple rooms to family and honeymoon suites – with current price rates at ฿3,600 to ฿7,200 per night.

Each room comes with a small zen garden as well as a private onsen tub in some. For rooms with tubs, the promotion prices are currently at ฿3,300 to ฿5,200 per night, which only goes on until the end of this April.

You can also watch Netflix on TV in the rooms at Mayu while relaxing in a yukata bathrobe provided for free – a courtesy of the hotel.
