Bangkok Bread Fiesta 2019

Bread goes well with everything, from butter and jam to meat and vegetables. If this is your carb of choice, then you can’t miss Bangkok Bread Fiesta 2019 – BKK’s biggest bread food fair happening from 26 October to 3 November 2019 at CentralPlaza Chaengwattana.

Food festivals are popular in Bangkok, especially those that feature street food. However, it’s not often that we see the star of the show being bread – especially in a country where rice is the main carb.

Tonnes of bakeries and food stores from all across Thailand will be gathered at the event, so make sure you come with your tummies ready to feast. You’ll also have the chance to try limited edition bread dishes from stores that will only be available at this festival.

If you’re a salmon fan, head straight to Jonnie Toast for its Smoke Salmon with Cheese (฿129). This is a toast topped with smoked salmon and gooey cheese. If you’re looking for something sweet, you can opt for dessert toppings like chocolate lava (฿40) too.

Another store to look out for is The Black Factory to try its Lava of The Caribbean (฿99). This features slices of crispy bread sprinkled with a little of fragrant oregano and stuffed with red gooey cheese. Though it’s a simple sandwich, it brings a variety of flavours and textures to your mouth. Don’t forget to capture that cheese pull!

Skip the usual savoury pizzas and try this special sweet dessert pizza for ฿199 at Baby Pizza. Going with the pirate theme, this pizza is inspired by lost treasure and comes with sweet toppings like chocolate chips, golden-yellow egg threads, and chocolate coins.
