Underdog Microbrewery

Bangkok is filled with great spots for nightlife. Underdog Microbrewery stands out from the crowd by serving flavourful local craft beers on self-servicing taps.

Here’s why that’s such a good deal.

What is a microbrewery?

A microbrewery is a brewery that produces a small volume of beer that often focuses on quality over quantity.

In the case of Underdog, they produce 20 distinct flavours of craft beers themselves. All of those beers are available on their self-service taps.

A brewery with local flair

This brewery is all about locality. This, of course, applies to their craft beers.

But it also means that they’re featuring art from local artists on their walls. The youthful and vibrant music that completes the brewery’s ambiance is also local.

They are all about celebrating Samut Prakan’s local gritty subcultures.

What do you mean by self-servicing taps?

Simply put, you can pay for exactly how much beer you want to consume at Underdog Microbrewery. Whether you want to stop at half a pint or keep it going all night long, you can pay for exactly how much want to drink as opposed to a fixed amount.

They do this by letting you put money on a card which you’ll use at the taps.

And since there are so many options available on tap, you’ll want to try a bit of each to figure out what your favourites are.
