When in Bangkok, a visit to the swanky community space The Commons is a must. With its photogenic interior and plethora of dining options for customers to enjoy, it’s no wonder this has become a hotspot in the city. Plus, they even opened a new outlet at Saladaeng early this year.

However as COVID-19 continues to creep around, especially with 2 cluster cases recently reported, visiting crowded spaces is not recommended. As such, The Commons Thonglor made the important decision to close down their premises from 17th March 2020 until further notice.

For the safety of patrons and vendors

In their post, The Commons Thonglor stated that being physically together is “not the advisable thing to do right now.” It must have been difficult to make this decision, but we’re glad spaces like The Commons are taking active steps to ensure the safety of both their customers and vendors.

There have been no announcements on whether The Commons Saladaeng will be taking the same measures and closing their premises as well. However, you can stay updated on their Facebook page here.

We hope the virus subsides soon so that everyone can enjoy being out and about in Bangkok soon!
