Thai woman quits job & shows her boss the winning tickets
Everyone dreams of winning it big and quitting to live life while young. One Thai woman had her moment after she had multiple wins in the most recent lottery, prompting her to quit her job.

Dreaming of the lottery win
After years of dreaming and planning of what she would do if she wins it big, one Thai woman got her chance after multiple lottery wins. In a viral TikTok video, you can observe her giddy, gleeful expression as she strides towards her boss’s desk, hoping to get her resignation approved.

Her boss, who was hard at work, was surprised by her request. But the woman held firm and said that she was asking for permission to quit after winning it big in the lottery. The woman then showed her boss the amount of lottery tickets she had been buying for the past 8 years she’s been at the job.

Nonetheless, her boss smiled and approved the request, asking the woman if she was “quitting to go live (her) life”. Indeed, the lucky lady would go on to quit her desk job to live the life she had been dreaming of.

It was a bittersweet moment for her coworkers as well, as they were elated that she could now pursue her dreams. But they also had to bid farewell to dear friend of 8 years who’d been working with them.
The clip quickly went viral with Thai netizens sharing in her joy and congratulating her.
Pursuing her passions
Many netizens quickly congratulated her and expressed that they too wanted to quit their job after winning the lottery one day.

Many were also curious about how much she won but she opted to keep that private, only divulging that she had multiple tickets that matched the last two digits of the most recent lottery.

Many were curious about what she has planned next and she was happy to reveal that it will be a combination of travelling and pursuing her passion. During the Covid pandemic, she and her husband had been working on a burger joint together so she will begin helping him with that more.

Although winning the lottery is a matter of luck, what comes afterwards is anything but. There are plenty of stories of people winning the big jackpot but then losing it all because they simply didn’t know how to manage such a large sum.
But this Thai woman had spent years planning her next move for whenever she won the lottery. She even had the next few years of her life and finances mapped out just in case her time came. And come, it did.
