New Thai Horror Game Has A Character That Looks Just Like PM Prayut, Costs Only ฿99

Thai PM in horror game

It is no doubt that gaming is a mass activity in Thailand, and that Thai horror games are popular among gamers both in and out of the country. They are often featured in videos by famous streamers worldwide.

Coming in hot is another Thai horror game called Escape FishStop 3D though still in development, the platform has caught the public’s attention with a character that resembles the current Thai Prime Minister, Prayut Chan-o-cha, popularly known as ‘Uncle Tu’.

Thai horror game also delivers laughter

Escape FishStop 3D has been around for a while. However, it wasn’t until the addition of a character that looks a lot like Thailand’s leader that it captured a crowd large enough to be featured on a major news source.

According to Matichon, the game is available for purchase on Steam; and since it is a developing game, it costs you only ฿99 (~USD3.22) for a trial.

As the description states, this 3D game features a unique plot as well as characters and quests that would rather make you laugh than get scared.

Why? You may ask. That is because the story puts you under a 4.0 Attitude Adjustment Program, and the sole goal is to escape from different places within the system. The big boss in charge of the centre is no other than Uncle Tu, who runs at you with zero warning, guaranteed to give you brief thrills.

Escape Fishstop 3D also takes you through eerie places – like hospitals – and has sound effects unlike others that will creep you out, especially if you are Thai. Tunes are cheerful and funny, but life-threatening music will spontaneously play in the background; they’re also accompanied by the sounds of Prayut broadcasting the coup in 2014.

While walking along gloomy settings, you come across a lot of hilarious activities that are meant to forcefully adjust your attitude, like soundbites. But, don’t worry, they’re not real.

The game has since gone viral, and has appeared in Yoshi 300 – the channel illustrated in the picture above – owned by Thai Youtuber with over 630k+ subscribers.

Try Escape Fishstop 3D

It is definitely one interesting game that stands out from its Thai horror peers. If you’re interested to see what other gags are inside, why not give it a look; better yet, why not give it a try.
