Sushiro Is Opening Its First Branch In BKK This Month With ฿40 For All

Japan’s Sushiro debuts in Bangkok

It’s the ever-growing love for Japanese food that gave birth to many of its restaurants in Thailand every year. Sadly, not a lot out there offer Kaiten or ‘conveyor belt’ sushi, which is one of the fun ways to enjoy these fresh fish bites. But that’s about to change.

Japan’s own sushi shop, Sushiro, is opening its first Thai branch at CentralWorld this 31st March 2021. And the good news is it is going to be cheap.

“Tasty sushi for all”

Sushiro is among the popular kaiten sushi chains in Japan; it started out 30 years ago as a single restaurant in Osaka under the name “Tai Sushi”, as described in a food guide on Live Japan.

Now it’s managed by Sushiro Global Holdings Ltd. with over 500 branches worldwide. In hopes of becoming even more successful than it already is, Sushiro is expanding to Thailand; finally giving us real tastes of the sea.

The restaurant’s hook is its quality food that comes at affordable prices with the cheapest dish being JPY100 (~฿28) making it a go-to place for all types of diners in Japan from: university students to couples, and families.

It’s also known for the array of side dishes that are equally tasty, which is easily ordered through a tablet that comes with every table.

And now we can have all of that – unfortunately minus the side dishes – right here in Bangkok.

How to get to Sushiro

The doors opening this March will be at CentralWorld on 7th Floor, right in the city’s heart. You can simply get there by car or by train going down at either BTS Siam or Chidlom, then use the skywalk to arrive at the complex while taking in the city view.

The most exciting part about Sushiro coming to Thailand is that the prices stick, according to Khaosod English. Despite not starting at its original rate of JPY100 (~฿28), ฿40 (~USD1.30) sushis – tuna included – is still a price Thai fans have been waiting to hear.

Look no further, Japan is here

Thanks, Sushiro! Now we don’t have to cry ourselves to sleep at night craving cheap authentic sushis in “the land of the rising run”. So, practice your chopstick skills to perfect and have your stomachs ready because it is just on the horizon.
