Facebook user Win Weerachai posted some disturbing CCTV footage, revealing a man in what seems like a Bangkok Sky Train elevator putting his index finger in his mouth and touching all the buttons and handles. At one point, the man even reached down his own pants before touching more objects.

The video timestamp shows that the incident took place in the early morning of 20th March 2020. However, it has not been confirmed what exact BTS station this was.

Despite his face shown clearly in the video, the man has yet to be identified. But the police are reportedly on the hunt for this man.

Undoubtedly, this footage gives many Bangkokian commuters an uneasy feeling, especially during the COVID-19 outbreak.

The video has since been shared over 16,000 times and received over 1,000 comments – most criticising the anonymous man’s behaviour while many warned their loved ones.

Translation: Please don’t touch anything. Use an alcohol spray before touching anything. People are cray-cray nowadays.

Whether or not this man is purposely spreading COVID-19 or any other gems, it’s super unsanitary, to say the least. If there’s anything to take from this video, it’s that we have to clean our hands more.
