Largest Starbucks Reserve in Thailand
Starbucks is a favourite coffee brand to many – the ever-ubiquitous cafés seem to always have a classy vibe to them.
Newly opened Starbucks Reserve Chaophraya River Front at ICONSIAM has stolen the show: spanning 1,260 square metres, this is the largest Starbucks in Thailand.
Starbucks outlet with 2 floors
This Starbucks Reserve is a 2-floored café and has 3 types of barsTeavana Bar, Mixologist Bar and Reserve Bar with various types of drinks.
When we walked in, it reminded us of a two floored VIP lounge at an airport – we could tell that the vibe was sophisticated

The Mixologist and Reserve Bars are joined together – making it a perfect meet cute between coffee and alcohol.
At the bars, customers can sit down and observe the mixologists at work – it was almost like watching chemistry class with bartending lessons. While the bars were in a luxury mall, it felt like we were at a beach bar where bartenders and customers converse smoothly about anything and everything.
The Teavana Bar served colourful iced tea mixed drinks. Here, we ordered an Iced Sunset ฿180 (~USD5.99) and a Iced Peach Mojito ฿180 (~USD5.99) that boasted vibrant colours that we could watch for hours – like a lava lamp.
We also enjoyed a fluffy and warm Butter Croissant ฿65 (~USD2.16) and Chocolate Twist ฿65 (~USD2.16).

The first-floor’s seating area had a business-y feel to it but also a modern-chill atmosphere: kind of like what you’d imagine a hip and trendy startup to look like.
Starbucks patio: an Instagrammer’s dream
ICONSIAM’s new Starbucks Reserve’s contemporarily designed terrace was large enough to fill around 80 to 100 people, and in the right lighting against the ultra-luxe and modern background, it almost felt like we weren’t even in Bangkok.
The terrace also has a beautiful panoramic view of Chaophraya River; the city view was stunning; I honestly felt like I was sipping my beverages on a rooftop sky bar.
This Starbucks Reserve reminded me of when I was sitting around London’s business district.

First class lounge vibes on the second floor

The staircase is situated against floor-to-ceiling windows that have a beautiful evening view worthy of panoramic shots – it kind of reminded me of the design of Munich Airport in Germany.
Whilst walking up, we didn’t expect the outlet to be massive but were met with a very spacious second floor that really resembled posh First Class lounges.
With dark decor that was smooth to your eyes, and the lighting was very soothing.

While the second floor had less of a business vibe to it than the first floor, there are two conference rooms that were large enough to host roughly 10 to 12 people.
Another classy place for Instagram
The Starbucks Reserve Chaophraya River Front can be added to the multi-purpose café list as it spans to 1,260 square metres and has a myriad of facilities as well as IG backgrounds. It could rid you of the travel blues whilst you’re stuck in Thailand, because its atmosphere was different.
It is also very conveniently located – a short 15 minute ferry ride from BTS Saphan Taksin and BTS Charoen Nakhon. The ferries depart every 20 minutes.
