Hidden Tree Garden

When it comes to cafes, I always look out for a couple things: strong concept, yummy food and great vibes. Hidden Tree Garden kinda checks all these boxes for me. Especially if you’ve been wanderlusting for Bali, this cafe will be the perfect fix even if you’re based in Thailand.

Like it mentions in its name, the cafe is hidden amongst a sea of trees in Mueang Samut Songkhram District, about one and a half hours away from Bangkok.

So if you’re anything of a coffee aficionado or a Bali-junkie, read on to uncover more deets about this rustic cafe.

Speaking of photo corners, do keep your eyes peeled for the cafe’s signature attraction – a human-sized bird nest awaits you at this corner.

But of course, with entire cafe manifesting that effortless rattan jungle backdrop, there are photo ops everywhere you turn. And as the resident insta-hoe, I’m telling you that even the leaves and unassuming bamboo poles make for great framing tools.

Just take a look at this, sis.

A pro-tip is also to look out for these netted ledges where you can chill and give off that ‘I’m on a vacation”/ “Do not disturb” vibe.

With all this photo potential… I am literally *squealing with excitement* for you! As for those who may not be as interested in these photo stuff, let my inner coffee connoisseur take you through their extensive specialty coffee menu.

Specialty coffee menu with beans from Brazil, Ethiopia and Thailand

NGL, Hidden Tree Garden is known for their specialty coffee, but hands up if you’re like me and you’re only pretending to know what “specialty” actually means.

All you’ll need to know is that coffee beans from Brazil, Columbia, Ethiopia and Thailand are used to create their house brews. The proof’s in the pudding too, with this adorable signpost showing how far you are from each of those places from where we’re at. Thailand… 0km, I love it.

The coffees here are apparently made via various techniques mastered by their house baristas. Here, we have their Costa Rica Mozart coffee, brewed through an anaerobic process, producing taste notes of lavender, blueberry or sweet candy.

As for visitors who might prefer non-coffee options, opt for Pink Forest – a Korean-style matcha strawberry milk.

Of course, their coffee also comes accompanied with bakes and sweet treats like their Caramel Macadamia Cheese Cake.

If choosing from an extensive menu gives you anxiety, def prep yourself by doing prior research before checking out the dearth of options here. For the full menu offerings, we’d suggest you bookmark their Instagram page. You’re most welcome.
