Haircut resembling Tennis’s face


A few days ago, many Thais celebrated with excitement over the victory of Tennis Panipak, a Thai taekwondo athlete, during the Asian Games 2023. The excitement seems to have lingered so far, as a Thai radiographer got his hair cut to look like Tennis’s face to celebrate her victory. Here’s the rest of the story.

As Tennis Panipak Wongpattanakit won her taekwondo match against China last week, numerous Thai people congratulated her on social media platforms. She was praised for showing her determination and strength in the competition despite a dramatic error in the score that briefly changed to 0-23 in favour of China before the Thai team protested and had it corrected to 0-6.

Mitree Mike Chitinunda, a radiographer at Chulalongkorn University and also a sports fan, had a haircut that resembled Tennis’s face to celebrate her victory and support her as it was her final Asian Games.

However, some netizens funnily said that the haircut looked a bit scary.
