ผัดหอยไฟลุก (Pad Hoi Fai Look) has been lately popular among residents in Samut Songkhram due to its delicious fried clam dish and the vendor’s unique method of cooking clams over high flames.

The stall is located at the car park at Kromluang Chumporn Khet Udomsak Shrine from around 12pm–1pm. A fried clam dish costs from ฿100 (~USD2.82)/kilogram, depending on the type of clam.

The owner mentioned that he used to sell fruits, but it wasn’t successful, prompting him to switch to operating a fried clam stall. His fried clam stall turned out to be very popular and gets a long queue every day. He also said many customers filmed videos of his stall and shared them on social media platforms, especially TikTok. This led to the rise of his humble stall’s fame.
