Fo Sho Bro in Bangkok

Fo Sho Bro is another incredibly IG-worthy yet hidden gem here in Bangkok.

When I first heard this cafe’s name, I certainly wasn’t expecting to be welcomed into a sophisticated space. Hidden behind dusty pink walls and giant cacti, this desert-themed cafe that resembles a Grecian bathhouse is not to be missed.

Read on to find out more about our little visit to this homely and charming bistro in Bang Na.

Outdoor seating area resembles a dusty pink Grecian bathhouse

Honestly, with its high dusty pink walls hiding all of its beauty within, it was hard not to catch my breath when I first entered the cafe.

There’s just something about the colour combination between the salmon pink surfaces and the pool’s light turquoise hues that gives the cafe the romantic air it carries.

The grungy elements of the desert also complemented the softness of the dusty pink walls well. With each of the different corners of the cafe offering a photo opportunity of its own, make sure to come ready for your very own photoshoot.

Quirky decor creating a cozy ambience

The interior of the cafe took on another life of its own. With velvety sofas in one room and rattan chairs in another, the space resembled a home – this tunnel here connecting one to the other. We were even blessed enough to hear one of the staff play on the piano here that day – and they were kind enough to let me have a go on the keys.

We set up camp in this room with a giant mirror – one of its many quirky set pieces within the space which make for great photo ops.

Since this cafe was still a desert-themed one at the end of the day, substituting a regular table with a huge one made entirely out of a log seemed completely befitting the cafe’s personality.

If you thought we were going to end our review here, you thought wrong. After getting our drinks, we made our way up to their rooftop where we had the romantic – yet ironically dystopian – shoot of our dreams.

Pensive leafless tree on the rooftop for romantic shoots

The rooftop of the cafe was quiet and bare, set against this grim yet beautiful leafless tree in the backdrop.

There weren’t many people who came up to the rooftop with us but that made it even more perfect for the minimalist and ethereal vibe that we were going for.

We also had a swell time taking some gorgeous shots of the drinks we got. Here we have their signature Black Grapefruit drink, which set us back around ฿230 (~USD6.50). The drink was a tad too sweet for my liking but still was incredibly refreshing and tantalising to my humble tastebuds.

Getting to Fo Sho Bro in Bang Na

As it’s situated away from Bangkok’s city centre in Bang Na, you can easily get here via Grab Bike – in order to escape the rush hour traffic in the city centre.

With every part of this cafe offering a different photo backdrop around each corner, time flew by quickly while we were here. So get dressed up and bring your most chic outfit or desert-wear. Either way, this cafe will have something for you.
