Due to the curfew set due to the State of Emergency, people have been ordered to not go out at night unless they are allowed to or under special circumstances. This aims to prevent COVID-19 cases from rising due to reasons such as parties or late-night gatherings.

Most people understand these conditions and cooperate with the rules, but there are some folks like this man, who got caught red-handed in his PJs for breaking the curfew.

Chiang Mai does not allow people to go out from 10PM to 4AM every day in order to control the number of COVID-19 infections. Other cities like Bangkok have also implemented the curfew system.

In the wee hours of the morning on 16th April, there were 3 people arrested in Chiang Mai for breaking the curfew, Khaosod reported.

They were a 22-year-old man named Montri Chanonsri who confessed that he was going to see some friends, and a 32-year-old man, Sornsak Srisatarn, who was caught in front of Chang Puak Bus Station.

The last one was 20-year-old Arut Leunjai who was riding his motorbike near the checkpoint in front of Central Festival Chiang Mai.

Arrested in his Stitch pyjamas – which amused many netizens – he admitted that he went out because he felt lonely and didn’t expect to get caught.

This was done for everybody’s safety. So, if you’re feeling lonely, wear your cute pyjamas and enjoy some movies or video call your friends at home instead.

With proper cooperation from everybody, we will have the chance to go out and enjoy ourselves as we used to soon.
