Designed as a house setting, Baan Nueng Mookata or บ้านหนึ่งหมูกระทะ is another option to try for an affordable mookata meal. What makes this place worth a visit is its yummy sour and spicy sauces that’ll delight your palate.
The price for a set is ฿169 (~USD4.85)/set. If one set doesn’t satiate your hunger, you can order a bowl of pork and chicken from ฿99 (~USD2.84)/bowl. Surely, you’ll fall in love with this place.
Since the restaurant is located deep in an alley, if you don’t have a car, it’s best to hire a motorcycle taxi to get here.

Tete Beach is a beachside Thai BBQ-style restaurant where you can munch on grilled seafood and meat while basking in the serene beauty of the sunset along with relaxing music from the restaurant. At nightfall, the restaurant comes alive with a colourful string of lights.

If you’re looking to take your shabu dining to another level, Loma Shabu makes sure to fulfil your desire. It offers three packages you can choose from: Standard at ฿428 (~USD12.37), Premium at ฿548 (~USD15.83), and Premium plus at ฿798 (~USD23.06).
Each package offers you a certain range of food dishes. If you want to enjoy all of their top-notch food items such as NZ mussels, fresh salmon sashimi, and wagyu wrapped in cheese, then the premium plus option is a definite must-try.
Furthermore, you will be satisfied by their five options of soups: black soup, tonkatsu soup, mala soup, dried bonito soup, and bak kut teh (pork rib) soup.

Japanese food fans won’t regret eating at this nice Japanese-themed Fuku Yakiniku. It offers both BBQ and hot pot options and you can choose which one to enjoy. Similar to Loma Shabu, Fuku Yakiniku has three enticing packages including Gold at ฿499 (~USD14.42), Platinum at ฿769 (~USD22.22), and Diamond at ฿899 (~USD25.98). Each package offers a different range of dishes you can savour.
Additionally, the eatery boasts an abundant selection of seafood, sashimi, and sushi options to chomp on. All in all, we think this place is worth a visit.

8. Rao Wei (เรา เว่ย) — a Chinese-style conveyor belt shabu restaurant in downtown Pattaya

Our last one is a Chinese-style conveyor belt mala shabu restaurant – Rao Wei. Recently opened in 2023, the restaurant quickly captured the attention of locals.
Here, you can pick any items that tantalise your taste buds on the conveyor belt. Food items start from ฿5 (~USD0.14) to ฿50 (~USD1.44) per item. You can choose one broth for ฿49 (~USD1.47) or two broths in one pot for ฿69 (~USD2.03). For refillable sauces, it costs ฿29 (~USD0.85) per sauce.
