And in order to reach a wider group of people, the World Health Organization (WHO) has decided to launch their first couple of videos on TikTok – a up and coming social media app popular especially with the Gen Z folk – to provide information on how to deal with the pandemic.

Their 2nd video deals with proper sanitary techniques to protect ourselves and others from COVID-19. First, they recommend keeping our hands clean with alcohol-based soaps and sanitisers.

Second, cover your mouth and nose when sneezing or coughing with your arms or tissue paper. Finally, they suggest for anyone who has any symptoms to see a doctor and to and stay home until you feel better.

Both videos have over 10M views now, and WHO’s efforts to reach out to younger audiences worldwide is commendable.

Aside from this channel, you can also get more information directly from the WHO’s website

Thailand has also tightened safety procedures to control the numbers of infections, with kind volunteers help clean public spaces too.
