You might not expect it, but Thailand is also home to cheesemakers and winemakers too. This coming Friday 8th September, the Foreign Correspondents’ Club of Thailand will be hosting a show-and-tell featuring artisanal cheeses and wines made in Thailand.

2. Sandwich Weekend by Chef Bar – Homemade Burgers By A Private Chef

Looking for your next go-to burger joint? Chef Bar is all about comfort food and they’ll be organizing their Sandwich Weekend which’ll feature homemade burgers and other meats between bread.
We can argue all we want about whether or not burgers are sandwiches, but why not just appreciate all the delish that this event has to offer? Best of all, it’ll be at The Food School Bangkok which is a nice trendy spot near Chulalongkorn University in the heart of Bangkok.

3. GARNiDELiA stellacage 2023 – Anime EDM music from a duo returning to touring after 4 years

If you’re an otaku that appreciates EDM then this is for you. GARNiDELiA is touring again after 4 years.
Their songs have been featured in anime like Kill la Kill and Fate Apocrypha. Tickets start at ฿2,600 per person and are quickly running out. You can get them here.

4. Piano Recital at Baan Plook Rak – A free admission concert by the music hall’s teachers

After many classes of listening to yourself attempt to play a nursery rhyme on piano, it’s nice to sit back and listen to your teacher play sometimes. Baan Plook Rak (บ้านปลูกรัก) has a piano recital where the music school’s teachers will perform classical pieces.
And guess what? It’s completely free for anyone to come listen. The music hall is a mere 10-minute walk away from MRT Lumphini.

5. International Thai Film Festival 2023 – Films from international filmmakers you may not have heard of

Tons of huge movie blockbusters are hitting theatres in September like The Creator, The Nun 2, and many other movies with titles starting with “The”. But those Hollywood films can sometimes feel like eating at a decent chain restaurant when you actually want a taste of a small, local family diner.
Well fear not because you can check out the International Thai Film Festival 2023 to catch a ton of shorts and feature films from international moviemakers. The festival is a 3-day affair from 20-22 September during the afternoon hours.
