The Oxygen Pattaya Is A Bali-Themed Cafe With Sunset Views, 2 Hours From Bangkok

The Oxygen Pattaya is a Bali-themed cafe

Honestly, Pattaya is a top-rated destination that’s been flying under the radar for far too long, compared to its more famous sister city counterparts. For those who love chillin’ at the beach, or vibing under the sunset at twilight, it’s a major plus point that the city is pretty easy to visit from Bangkok. Of course, a place that combines both a 180° view of the beach, and the full cafe experience would be loads better than just lounging on the sand the whole time.

This noteworthy cafe we’re about to introduce next, promises to give visitors just that. The Oxygen Pattaya is a Bali-themed beachfront cafe you can dine at with al fresco sunset views, just 2 hours from Bangkok.

We know that Pattaya is well-liked for its beaches and cafes, like Bang Saen. So we’re not too surprised that all you’d wanna do when you visit is to look for a coffee shop to hang out with your friends. Enter The Oxygen Pattaya – a cafe decked in a Balinese theme with spacious indoor and outdoor dining areas for guests to enjoy their meals as well as the 180° views of the sunset.

Walking inside, you’ll spot a roomy indoor dining area that can accommodate a large number of customers. We think the ceiling’s set-up is pretty striking too. Those who frequent Bali will recognise the thatched hut design, comprising hay and wood panels.

The circular bar in the middle is unmistakable. And you’ll feel compelled to check out the many beverage options sitting on the cylindrical shelf in the centre. Guests who don’t want to sit in a typical chair should make a beeline for the smol white hammocks – great to enjoy a quick swing while sipping on your drinks.

Sunset-chasers, we gotchu. Definitely opt for outdoor seating at this cafe – you’ll find everything from beanbags under tepees, family dining tables, smol benches for two pax facing the sea. Coming with a partner, it would be a good idea to grab a spot on a bench and gaze at the sunset in the privacy of your own space.

Let’s have a look at the items on the menu that are worth-trying. Since we’re by the beach, we’d recommend ordering the Grilled Seafood Set for ฿995 (~USD26) where you’ll get a plate full of grilled crab, squid, a massive prawn, and three grilled mussels and oysters served with a seafood dip in the middle.

For ice cream addicts, one of the highly recommended items for desserts is this Yummy Jelly for ฿195 (~USD5) – ice cream served in a small glass topped with strawberry syrup, biscuit crumble, whipped cream and popping pearls on the side – a perfect way to combat the spiciness from the seafood sauce.

After you’ve done with your meal, go ahead and snap some pics with the cafe’s provided props that lie around the establishment, or pose with the signs on the walls to show your followers that you’ve already stepped foot in this place.

Located right smack in the middle of the cafe, this small path lined with white circular arches is a photo spot you’d better not miss if you have FOMO as the photospot is a very popular amongst photo enthusiasts.
