Taxi driver abandons car to go to the loo
When you’re in a taxi, do you ever expect your driver to jump out in the middle of traffic? Well, neither did this man.
Last week, a Facebook user named Pakapak Sankhasundara shared a strange experience he had during a taxi ride in which he was the passenger.
The passenger becomes the taxi driver
While stuck in a heavy traffic jam at an intersection, the driver, who was an old man, suddenly told Mr. Pakapak that couldn’t hold his toilet urges anymore and had to go to the loo ASAP. Before he jumped out, he asked Mr. Pakapak to “move the car” for him.
The driver then ran off without making sure Mr. Pakapak could drive or not, leaving him stunned.

Luckily, Mr. Pakapak knew how to drive and jumped into the driver’s seat immediately. And right before the car moved through the intersection, the driver rushed back in…and sat on the passenger’s side.
And here’s the kicker: he didn’t even get to pee as he couldn’t find a bathroom.
Passenger drove driver to the bathroom
Sitting behind the wheel, Mr. Pakapak tried to find a gas station but there were none to be found. So he headed to a nearby night market where he reckoned would be a toilet and finally, the driver got to go answer nature’s call.
Mr. Pakapak also revealed that at one point, he was thinking about driving the driver to his condominium and let him use his toilet.
Netizens can’t stop laughing
The post has since been shared for over 8,000 times with more than 4,000 comments. While many were expressing their amusement, some showed sympathy for the poor driver and gave him advice for the future, especially for when the passenger can’t drive.
Translation: Don’t forget to ask the driver uncle for the fare!
Translation: Good teamwork, guys.
Translation: This would be very different if the passenger couldn’t drive.
Translation: Uncle, always keep a PET bottle in your car for emergencies like this in the future.
Phew…that was quite a story. We can’t imagine what it would be like if the passenger couldn’t drive – which might have been the main reason why they were taking a taxi in the first place!
