Following Tawanchai’s victory, fans from both sides took to social media in droves to request a rematch.

So, here’s good news for those looking forward to their rematch. Tawanchai and Jo Nattawut are slated to have a rematch in ONE 167 in June 2024.

The announcement for the ONE 167 boxing match scheduled for June 8th at Impact Arena has been made. The main event features Stamp Fairtex, a Thai female fighter, defending the Atomweight MMA championship against Denice Zamboanga from the Philippines.

A rematch is set between Tawanchai P.K. Saenchai and Jo Nattawut, with Tawanchai defending his Thai Featherweight championship. In their previous kickboxing encounter, Tawanchai emerged victorious on October 6th last year. The organisers at ONE have reconfirmed this rematch.

In the most recent boxing event, Tawanchai retained his Thai boxing championship title by achieving a points victory over Superbon Singdamwinit at ONE Friday Fights 46 on October 22nd. Meanwhile, Jo Nattawut claimed a points victory against Luke Lessei from the United States in a Thai boxing match at ONE Fight Night 17 on December 8th.

Who is Tawanchai P.K. Saenchai?

Tawanchai P.K. Saenchai is a prominent Muay Thai fighter from Thailand. He competes in the featherweight division and is known for his exceptional skills, technique, and speed in the ring. His nickname is ซ้ายดารา (Sai-Dara), which comes from that he is handsome like a celebrity and left-footed.

He was born in Pattaya and started learning Muay Thai when he was 7 years old. At the age of 14, he made his debut at the Lumphinee Boxing Stadium. In 2018, he earned the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium, Sports Authority of Thailand, and Siam Kela Fighter of the Year awards. Three years afterwards, Tawanchai embarked on his journey with ONE Championship, aiming for his first World Title.

His ONE Championship records are eight wins and one loss.


Who is Jo Nattawut?

Jo Nattawut is a talented boxer. He always fights his opponents with intensity. After enjoying big success in Thailand, he decided to head over to the U.S. in 2013, where he snagged some local and world titles. In 2018, Nattawut steered his career towards ONE Championship. With three out of his five promotional victories were secured by knockout.

His ONE Championship records are six wins and five losses.

As a Muay Thai fan, we gotta say this news made me so excited since both of them are awesome fighters. The previous match between them left an impression on all of us. Now we are looking forward to this incoming thrilling rematch.
