Softair ice cream shop in Bangkok
Ice cream is often the best choice when it comes to getting a sugar fix on a hot day. Plus, you have all sorts of options, even if it’s simply popping into a convenience store.
But if you’re looking for an ice cream that’s both delicious and photo-worthy, the newly opened Softair at Siam Centre can offer you both. This shop comes with a cool airplane theme and serves colourful soft serve ice cream made with ingredients from all around the world.

5-scoop ice cream at Softair
Just standing in front of their store, we could already smell the delicious scent of butter from their freshly-made waffle cones.
And when it came to our turn, we knew we had to order their signature 5 Soft Wonders (฿79) – a five-layer ice cream cone that looked too good to resist.
Add more ฿25 for this fancy waffle cone that comes with cereal and sprinkles
The 5 flavours that come with this order are:
- Brussels Chocolate
- California Strawberry
- Shizuoka Matcha
- Okinawa Sweet Potato
- Chanthaburi Mhonthong – a durian flavour hailing from Chanthaburi, a well-known fruit paradise in Thailand
Each scoop is delicately swirled by the staff, resulting in a tall, neatly-stacked cone. If like me, durian isn’t really your thing, they are happy to swap it out for another flavour. So instead, we got Normandie Milk, which was subtle and creamy.
Single scoop cones are also available from ฿29
The store follows the motto – “Fly You To The Soft Cream World”. Thus, each flavour is made from premium ingredients carefully selected from different parts of the world, such as strawberries from California, which is the world’s top strawberry exporter.
Besides looking vibrant, the taste is really yummy too. Each flavour is rich, while the soft serve itself is creamy and lighter on the palette as compared to regular ice cream.
The crunchy toppings add a nice texture each bite – there’s mochi too
And don’t just stop at a cone – give they cup options a try too. We got the Soft Holidae (M ฿69 |L ฿95) and went with the recommended flavour of Okinawa Sweet Potato.
You can add more munchies on top at ฿15 per topping
They’ve also got Blizzard-style ice creams and floats like the Soft Cyclone (S: ฿40| M: ฿50| L: ฿65) and Soft Pole Float (from ฿35).
Cute ice cream shop in Siam
While there are many dessert stores in Siam Centre, we definitely recommend stopping by Softair to give their unique soft serves a try.
The friendly staff here are dressed like cabin crew too!
So though it’s “winter” in Bangkok right now, don’t miss out on this delish 5-scoop cone the next time you’re in Siam.
