Sao Cafe in Bangkok


If you enjoy eating buns as we do, Sao Cafe in Bang Sue, Bangkok should be on your cafe-to-visit list.

The cafe is snug and features an old Chinese teahouse theme. It offers affordable toast and buns from ฿30 (~USD0.86).

Despite being a mini cafe, this place gets a lot of customers daily and even ha branches outside of Bangkok.

The cafe itself looks outstanding, adorned with beautiful green mosaic tiles.

Checking out the inside, you’ll spot a few small round wooden tables placed next to the concrete wall, with a neon Chinese sign. It gives off a very Chinese teahouse ambience.

The highlight is their mouth-watering desserts which include buns, steamed toast topped with custard cream, rotis, and shaved ice and an assortment of bread starting from ฿30 (~USD0.86) to ฿70 (~USD2.02).

Plus, you get a large choice of flavour-packed drinks to pick from to quench your thirst and cool off in the Bangkok heat.
