No quarantine in Phuket
Update: The Phuket Governor has updated that 100,000 doses of the vaccine will be arriving in Phuket on Thursday, and plans are currently underway to vaccinate the first group of 50,000 people within seven days.
Phuket Governor announced that the province has gone 89 consecutive days with no new Covid-19 cases. On 24th March 2021, Thailand announced that from 1st July 2021, tourists visiting Phuket will not have to undergo a mandatory quarantine.

Covid-19 vaccines in Phuket
The island’s health authorities are planning to have around 930K vaccine doses to be delivered before 1st July 2021 – they aim to create herd immunity and a safe environment before the arrival of tourists, according to Bangkok Post.
Phuket’s Deputy Governor also stated that based on a survey, foreigners are looking forward to coming to the province without undergoing quarantine.
Tourism might kick off again
Looks like Thailand’s showing positive signs of reopening the country again. Hopefully, international tourism can bring back the smiles for both travellers and activity providers.
