Japan’s Don Don Donki takes over Thailand
Thai people won’t have to travel all the way to Bangkok to visit the Japanese superstore Don Don Donki anymore as Donki Thailand announced earlier this month that they will be expanding, with as many as 20 new branches around the country.
This effort will automatically make Thailand the production hub for this cute and fun mall in the future.

Right now, Don Don Donki has 2 branches established in Bangkok – the first one is in Thong Lor and another is at The Market Bangkok, a new mall on the opposite side of CentralWorld.
The store also confirmed that we will see their 3rd branch by next year, but the location is yet to be revealed.
More than just a supermarket

Besides over 13,000 food items and goods – most of which are imported from Japan – to fill your shopping carts with, Don Don Donki is also known as a mini entertainment complex for folks who want to hangout like Japanese highschoolers at the Thong Lor branch.

Show off your vocals to your friends at Donki’s karaoke room with free-flow fizzy drinks and soft-serve.

If you’re more of a gym rat, don’t miss the chance to train like a street fighter hero at the indoor D-Sports Stadium with facilities like a cool boxing ring, a tennis court, and even a climbing wall.
Ask for more details and prices for these services on their Facebook page here.
We hope other branches will have these cool facilities as well. Let’s share the fun!
