Nasatta Light Festival
If you’re looking for pretty lights this coming holiday season, then add a little Thai tropical flair with Nasatta Heritage Park’s Light Festival. There may not be pine trees decked in festive lights per se, but the decor on these tropical trees and neon flower fields will add a magical touch to your Christmas photo collection.

Art installations & a light festival at NaSatta Heritage Park
The Nasatta Light Festival 2024, which lasts from now until 28 April 2024, is expected to turn the Ratchaburi heritage park into a magical landscape fit for Disney movies by night.
With so many great photo spots, we’ll share 3 of their best, including some tips on how to get the best shots.

Our first recommendation is this installation called “Thai Spirit”. Best to visit when night falls, it should be the fourth exhibit if you follow the recommended path to get around the festival. To get the best shots, go for a lower, wider angle to really make you look majestic. Be sure to get right in there and set yourself against the luminous flowers for some Bokeh, while the gentle glow illuminates your face.
Next on our list is the seventh installation titled, “Magic Cave & Glow Forest” which will take you into a cave and woods combo straight out of James Cameron’s Avatar.

With how fantastical the exhibit looks, there are plenty of great angles and spots here that could make for great photo ops. A pro-tip would be that it’s quite dark so make sure your camera settings account for the lower amount of light. Most of all, don’t be afraid to get up close and personal for maximum effect.
Our final piece of advise would be to drop by one of their numerous waterside installations. The “Origin of Light Fest” in particular, gave us the full Rapunzel vibes, where you’ll get to board a smol boat surrounded by floating lanterns.

To capture the entire scene with the ethereal mirrored lake effect, do remember to keep some distance to snap that perfect show. But if you want a close-up, a lower angle with the water in the backdrop works wonderfully as well.
Of course, if you truly want to get the best photos at this festival, you’ll also have to dress the part.

So even if we don’t get real snow or pine trees, this winter, Thailand will still get a beautiful fantasy landscape in the form of Nasatta Light Festival‘s offerings. If you’re in the area, make sure to stop by in the evenings to catch the heritage park’s transformation into a captivating mindscape of light.
You can get to NaSatta Heritage Park via a variety of methods with this list, including buses and vans. If you’re planning to drive from central Bangkok, do note that it’ll take approximately 1.5 hours to reach the Ratchaburi district. But for these gorgeous festive pics, we’re sure it’ll be well worth it.
