Mother Roaster cafe near Hua Lamphong MRT
The area around Yaowarat and Charoenkrung Road is home to a big Thai-Chinese community with old-school restaurants and cool cafes and bars hidden at every corner.
A vintage cafe hidden in an old house at Talat Noi named Mother Roaster has been making waves as of late, and for a good reason. This store serves drip coffee created by the coolest 70-year-old barista around, who gives the cafe its wholesome name.

A worthy spot for cafe hoppers and Instagrammers
