The village still uses a dirt road, which can be bumpy, especially now during the rainy season. So, they decided to spend their free time working on improving the conditions for their fellow neighbours.

Even though Grandpa Somnuk has muscle weaknesses, it’s heartwarming to see that he still had the spirit to do something good to make others’ lives better.

After their stories went viral, many people helped fix and take care of the public road as well. Grandpa Somnuk and his little grandkid sure helped raise awareness to their neighbours.

Netizens praise grandpa for his kind heart

Many media and news channels spread the story on different online platforms, and Thai netizens came together to share their support for the pair.

Translation: They’ve done a good cause without expecting anything, but good persons are always seen. Other than the road, this grandpa has also imparted a very good example to the boy.

We thank both of them for inspiring many people to start doing more good things for their community. We hope both of them are strong and happy.
