1. Backstage Cocktail Bar – broadway-theme with vanity mirrors
Backstage Cocktail Bar is made to look like a glamorous backstage scene you might find behind a theatre curtain.

The bar perfectly captures a vivid picture of the famous Moulin Rouge with decorative dark red curtains and vintage vanity mirrors. A number of small seating booths are also modelled after private audience booths.

For gin lovers, we recommend the bar’s signature Gin’s Perial (฿340, ~USD11.13), a refreshing combination of homemade Pimm’s and tonic, garnished with orange skin and pomegranate seeds.
Here, you’re also given liberty to customise your own drink (starts from ฿340, ~USD11.13). If you have no idea where to start, a bartender will have a brief chat with you to get to know your preferences and help you create your cocktail.

Shaped like a train’s dining carriage from the 20s, Q&A Bar brings its visitors on a journey through a series of classic cocktails.
From the vintage exterior, this place gives out a blind tiger type of bar vibe with luxurious sleek woodwork and gold metals interior. You can either sit at the bar and chat with other bargoers, or find a quiet spot in a private seating area.

Pineapple Fried Rice, Bong Petchakad

Rongros is known for adding a Thai twist to their cocktails, like their signature Bong Petchakad (฿280, ~USD9.15), a mixture of famous the Thai rum, SangSom, and mango and passion fruit juice served in a bamboo cup. This drink has a sweet and sour kick with a strong rum base.
While you’re here, don’t forget to pair your drink with Pineapple Fried Rice (฿320, ~USD10.46), savoury fried rice with a sweet and sour taste of pineapple, with an omelette and pork floss on top.

5. Honest Mistake – secret Chinese mafia-style bar

We might have come across Chow Yun‑fat in The Bund and thought ‘Damn! he’s cool.’ Well, now we can be as cool as he was in the show because Honest Mistake has recreated the scene for us to visit.
This hidden drinking spot is inspired by Shanghai’s underworld casinos and bars, so you will definitely feel like you’re a part of this secret world as you step in.
Before you get into the bar, you must trade your money as a deposit for a key to unlock the door at the pawnshop – yup, the bar is disguised as one, so don’t walk by it!

Getting thirsty? Try Mei-lee (฿340, ~USD11.13), a cocktail that represents a mafia’s daughter: sweet and spicy. It is consists of vodka infused in chilli, and is mixed with sweet and sour sherbet syrup with chocolate liqueur.

The Chatrooms is bar that looks just like a 90s-diner, with bright red and pastel pink walls. Needless to say, these are perfect as a photo backdrop.

Seats and tables are designed after the old school diner seats. Old-fashioned telephones are also repurposed as cool and quirky art pieces on the walls.
