Davin Cafe looks like the Money Heist bank in Bangkok
If there’s ever been a cafe in Bangkok that’s made me hit the woah button, it’s definitely got to be Davin Cafe. With its huge Roman-inspired pillars, and grand statues like The Thinker grabbing my attention even before I got out of my Grab ride, everything about this cafe screams opulence, sophistication and class.
At first glance, the grand pillars of the cafe brought me back to the bank in Money Heist. A bank? Sure. But I never would have thought that a cafe would be in a building of such scale.
So if you’re an avid cafe hopper who’s tired of all the usual spots, read on to see how you can refresh your feed with what Davin Cafe has to offer.

Huge building with Romanian pillars just like the bank in Money Heist
Beyond its sheer size, one of the most iconic features of Davin Cafe has got to be its Roman-inspired pillars that frame the cafe’s entrance.
Even before entering the cafe, any visitor will be inclined to spend the first few minutes – or up to an hour – of their visit just snapping pics outside the cafe.
With the majestic pillars supporting the modern glass windows that have been designed to look like fragments, pictures here are timeless and chic at the same time.
Interior has floor-to-ceiling windows and Romanian statues
Enter the cafe and you’re bound to be impressed by the sheer size of the cafe.
With its floor-to-ceiling windows, giant Romanian statues and steampunk elements, the interior successfully showcases its personality through its decor.
Specialty coffees and croissants from ฿140
But of course, while the aesthetics of a cafe make for huge reasons for people to visit, the food and drinks need to impress just the same.
Known as Thailand’s biggest specialty coffee house in 2022, we were rather impressed by their selection of coffees and went for one of their iced lattes with a medium roast. An Iced Latte will set you back by ฿140 (~USD3.80), a fair price for a drink in such a beautifully curated location. The cafe even extends to a second level which overlooks the cafe grounds.
Of course, no cafe experience is truly complete without some light bites to go with your drinks. For those who’d like a more savoury snack, we tried their ultra-crispy Ham & Cheese Croissant at ฿180 (~USD5). Alternatively, if you have a sweet tooth, there’s the option of having a cake to go with it. For us, we decided on their Dark Chocolate Mousse which was decadent and rich, for ฿200 (~USD5.50) .
Getting to Davin Cafe
With Davin Cafe not just bringing some thoughtful brews to your tastebuds, but also a whole album of photos for you to share on Facebook or your IG Feed, we’re sure that this cafe is one that shouldn’t be missed the next time you’re in the city.
Plus points if you want to cosplay as the motley crew from Money Heist of course, as you’ll def get plenty of heads turning.
