CPS Coffee in Bangkok
Apart from its bustling traffic, lively nightlife and endless list of night markets, Bangkok is also well-known for its cafes. Thanks to strong concepts and customised menus in recent years, visitors are usually spoilt for choice.
CPS Coffee has recently opened its flagship store down at Sukhumvit 53, which sports a unique space that has captured the eyes and hearts of many on IG. We’re talking an architectural twists like a tunnel with a staircase to nowhere. So if you’re a cafe hopper or coffee connoisseur, be sure to find out more about CPS Coffee on Sukhumvit 53.

A unique feature wall with a tunnel & staircase to nowhere
As their most iconic spot, I must say that this feature wall is pretty hard to miss. As a photo spot that’s so huge to start with – there are just so many different ways you could decide to snap your pics here.
Come decked in all black and serve as a nice contrast to the all-white stairs that will frame you as you walk through its tunnel and into the cafe. Speaking of the all-white design of their feature wall, the cafe also has an all-white spiral staircase that leads visitors up to the second floor of the cafe.
While this is just a functional staircase to some, us photographers definitely see this stairwell as IG-GOLD.
As you continue exploring the cafe’s urban industrial design, there’s also this column of space that’s a favourite for photographers.
The grey industrial walls tout circular features that cut through its walls to create interesting windows. Yeah, that natural light pouring in is definitely *chef’s kiss*, providing perfect lighting for any photo.
Once you’re done exploring the interior design of this urban cafe, be sure to make your way inside – into a whole new aesthetic.
Cool tones of wood against black walls in the cafe’s interior
The inside of the cafe is minimalist, clean and comfortable. Despite their black wall and dark grey sofas, it is nicely contrasted with the use of lightly coloured wooden chairs and warm lighting. From afar, one can’t even tell if the tables are made of pastel stones or cheeky wooden blocks.
At the back of their coffee counter and the other side of their grey column walls, is this Japanese-inspired feature – a circular window. As far as windows go, a circular window can represent many things – from innocence, enlightenment to elegance. And for CPS Coffee, I believe all three fit as great descriptors for this cafe.
Cups of coffee or signature cronuts from ฿90
Apart from their striking space and IG spots, CPS Coffee is also known for its delectable menu that comes pretty affordable prices for a Bangkok cafe.
A cup of their Signature Syphon Coffee will set you back ฿200 (~USD5.71) in both iced and hot versions for all you coffee connoisseurs to choose from.
Of course, no cafe is complete without its own selection of tea time treats. Their Signature Old School Cronut could be the perfect pairing to your cup of afternoon coffee or tea. This crispy chocolatey pastry is topped with an Ovaltine glaze to satisfy any chocoholic’s cravings at only ฿180 (~USD5.14).
If you’re an espresso drinker, you’d better not miss out on their Dirty Parade series of beverages. Here, we have their nostalgic Thai Style Dirty Espresso. Topped with a piece of nougat – arguably every Thai kid’s favourite candy – it is bound to get you feelin’ all nostalgic, albeit with a bit of grit and adulthood mixed in with that dose of caffeine.
