Chiang Mai Lambo drove through flood waters
For many of us, it is rare to see a sports car in action. So it’s surprising to see a bright yellow Lamborghini driving through the flooded streets of Chiang Mai as if it was a pickup truck. The Chiang Mai Lambo – slang for Lamborghini – displayed a remarkable fight against the water right up until the water decided to bite back.

Hey Lambo, you dropped something
On the 5th of October, a Facebook user shared a video of him following a yellow Lamborghini in the flooded streets of Chiang Mai. He must’ve figured that it was a rare sight to just see a sports car going around town in these poor conditions. Just think of that maintenance cost.
But the clip turned from showcasing opulence to just plain old pity when the clearly struggling Lambo lost its rear bumper faster than me getting pantsed in 5th grade in front of the class. With its naked behind for all the world to see, the yellow sports car slowly made its way to the side of the street. A true walk of shame.

It’d be embarrassing enough to just have the slow moving streets of Chiang Mai see this remarkable sight. But the clip exploded on social media and has been viewed over 1.7 million times over the course of a single day.

Being the butt of the joke with your pants down is a tough pill to swallow. But thank you Lambo owner. Your little mishap with nature has given people some much needed joy during a very tough time.
