BTS Pop-up showcase at Emquartier
Update: Good news – the BTS “Map Of The Soul” showcase at the EmQuartier is now available for walk-ins. Visitors no longer have to register online in order to visit the exhibition, which not only has all the tiny tan merch but also an entire section dedicated to products based on BT21 characters.
While the showcase is now available to the public, organisers ask that visitors continue to take all hygiene precautions seriously in order to ensure a safe experience for all.
Over recent years, renowned K-Pop group, BTS has held pop-up showcases across the world as their fans aka ARMYs in Thailand either lived vicariously through other peoples’ feeds or saved up to shop at one in a nearby country.
On 5th May 2021, the first official BTS pop-up in Thailand, opens at the EmQuartier.
Reserving your spot at the BTS Pop-Up
It’s been almost a year since BTS were forced to postpone their “Map Of The Soul” world tour due to the Covid-19 situation. While a pop-up with is simply no match for seeing the group IRL, ARMYs can still browse for official merch, pose with the boys’ official tiny tan and experience a smaller version of the rush you get when finally obtaining BTS tickets.

The showcase is open to ticketed guests only – pre-reservations start on Friday 23rd April 2021, according to an infographic posted by @morningKall. While the exhibition goes from 1st May 2021 to 25th July 2021, visitors can only purchase tickets for an allotted one hour visit during the upcoming week or “session”. For the following weeks, interested parties can make reservations from 10 AM every Wednesday.

So, ARMYs, get ready because you only have 12 chances to save your spot at Bangkok’s first BTS pop-up.
“Life goes on”
While ARMYs across the world were dejected about the world tour being postponed, the group continued to boost spirits with the release of “BE”, the album that contains their Grammy-nominated single, “Dynamite”. With the Covid-19 situation in Thailand, let’s hope that the chance to pose against backgrounds from your favourite Music Video sets can temporarily lift up some spirits.
