BTS Pokémon trains have arrived in Bangkok stations
You can never be too old to be enamoured with Pokémon. So if you’re in Bangkok and a huge fan, do yourself a favour and use the BTS because for a limited time, we’ll be having BTS Pokémon trains.
Here’s how you can catch ‘em all this winter.

Fully trained Pokémon on BTS carriages
Starting in November, BTS trains will be fully decorated by Pokémon. Exteriors, interiors, and even the train hangers will feature iconic Pokémon like Eevees and Pikachus as well as new Pokémon from the upcoming Scarlet and Violet versions that will be releasing later this month on the 18th.
So don’t be afraid to stand next to the frightening Gengar or lean on the fearsome Gyrados as you’re on the way to work or school.
But don’t forget to give some love to the new members of the Pokémon family too. Take a seat next to the new critters – Pawmi, Lechonk, Smoliv, and Fidough – on the left. But remember to give your seat next to the new starters (pictured on the right) to those who need it more.
Where to find and catch ‘em all
These Pokémon-themed BTS trains will be in service on both the Sukhumvit and Silom lines.
You can find them on the Sukhumvit line from Kheha till Khu Khot stations. As for the Silom line, try to catch trains travelling from Bang Wa to the National Stadium.
Catch ‘em all from 6:00AM to 12:00AM every day.
BTS, I choose you
BTS is already the premier choice for Thais getting around Bangkok, but these Pokémon-themed trains will brighten our usually dull commute. And when we get squeezed right up to the wall during morning rush hour, it’ll feel less packed when we’re pushing our faces up against the cute Dragonite.
So we hope to see you on the trains, trainer.
