Maji Curry became the winner of 2018’s Kanda Curry Grand Prix in Japan, and the curry king has now founded its first and only Thai branch at Siam Center.

6. Chilli Thai – modern Thai restaurant

Chilli Thai is a classy Thai-Esan restaurant that serves well-loved dishes with a slightly modern twist that’s perfect for sharing with family and friends. 

Esan cuisine, which has lots of salads and soups, originates from Northeastern Thailand. It’s known for its signature spicy and tangy flavours. But worry not, Chilli Thai’s dishes are adjusted for everyone’s taste buds, whether you’re a local or someone who’s never tried Esan food before.

If you’re down with your family, gather up and head to Wang Jia Sha, a renowned restaurant from Hong Kong and Shanghai since 1945. The restaurant specialises in Shanghainese cuisine, which is perfect for larger family dinners.

With its luxe decorations like reflective jade walls and a high ceiling, you’ll feel as if you were in a fancy eatery right in Hong Kong – this wll give you a chance to dress up too.

Make a beeline through Siam Paragon’s Dream Forest to Fucheer by Lukkaithong. This dessert stall sells shaved ice that has been featured in the Michelin Guide for 2 years in a row from 2018 to 2019.

Pang Cha (฿295, ~USD9.70) is a shaved ice dessert made from a special tea blend with 5 types of leaves: Local Southern Thai Tea, Emperor Oolong Tea, Popular Red Tea, Leaf Black Tea, Ceylon Tea. 

There is a mix of different textures from the toppings, including fluffy whipped cream, chewy konjac balls, boba, and soft bread underneath.
