10 Bubble Tea Stores In Bangkok With Unique Flavours & Services You’ll Only Find In Thailand

Bubble tea stores in Bangkok

Finding more ways to drink bubble tea is like exploring outer space – we’re always discovering something new. There are bound to be hidden gems among the hundreds of brands available, and it doesn’t have to be from abroad either.

Below are some of the best bubble tea stores in Bangkok from local franchises that you’ll only find in Thailand.

1. Chincha Bubble Tea — self-service BBT buffet

While Chincha has no unique tea flavours to offer like other brands, there aren’t many that can boast themselves as bubble tea buffets.

You can get a small cup for (฿25,~USD0.70) and a large cup for (฿35,~USD0.98). Toppings are an extra (฿5,~USD0.14) and (฿10,~USD0.28) for whipped cream.

You are free to mix and match toppings as you please to create the perfect bubble tea. With almost a dozen toppings and drinks, the possibilities are only limited by how much your cup can hold.

3. Moma’s Bubble Tea Bar — cheap but flavourful

The sweet purple potato is another trend that’s been going around lately, and inevitably crossed paths with the bubble tea not long after. Moma’s Sweet Potato Latte (฿39,~USD1.09) has the starchy qualities of the purple potato with the milky sweetness of a bubble milk tea.

Moma’s BBTs are cheap but taste just as great compared to more expensive brands. Also, you don’t have to travel far to taste it yourself because Moma outlets are all over Bangkok.

The Brown Café has a magic trick in the form of the anchan strawberry latte with rainbow bubbles (฿80,~USD2.24), a floral drink that transforms before your eyes.

The blue-hued anchan (butterfly pea flower) changes colour when mixed with acidic food like citrus fruits. This drink gets its purple layer when the anchan gets poured into the strawberry latte and followed by collagen bubbles.

The melon niu niu latte with rainbow bubbles (฿80,~USD2.24) looks a lot like melon cream soda in BBT form. This drink doesn’t transform like the anchan, but its lingering melon scent and milky green and rainbow are just as enchanting for photos.

Address: 388 Rama I Rd, Pathum Wan, Pathum Wan District, Bangkok 10330
Opening Hours: 10am-10pm, Daily

6. Bakt Cafe — dog-themed drinks

Bakt Cafe curiously names all their tea after a breed of dog, each with their own style to love and share the characteristics of their namesake.

The Winter Corgi (฿115,~USD3.22) is a winter melon tea with brown sugar jelly – sweet but on the lighter side.

Then there’s the Puffy Yorkshire (฿115,~USD3.22) that’s familiarly popular but fancy. It is brown sugar fresh milk (or milk tea) with brown sugar jelly and bubble, topped with creme brulee cream cheese.

If you want something standard, they have the Absolute Shiba (฿80,~USD2.24) milk tea with a triple threat of brown sugar bubble, golden bubble, and brown sugar jelly. We’d take all these doggies home if we could.

GAGA’s bubble teas are eye-catching from the very start. Even the more standard milk teas look extravagant because they go overboard with toppings, while fruit teas are beautifully coloured.

Those who love toppings will appreciate GAGA‘s signature GAGA Overload (฿90,~USD2.52), which has four different toppings on milk tea: honey drop, grass jelly, egg pudding, and the usual bubble pearls. Each sip has a blend of chewiness and softness that melts in your mouth.
