New Covid-19 cases in Thailand
Dr. Yong Poovorawan, an acclaimed virologist from the Chulalongkorn University stated that Thailand is still in the early stages of the outbreak. He mentioned that people who are asymptomatic could continue to spread the virus, as reported by The Nation Thailand.

Thailand’s Covid-19 situation seemed to stabilise for a while. The Government was encouraging locals to travel domestically, and even lifted nationality restrictions on the Special Tourist Visa.
However, Dr. Yong Poovorawan stated that there’s still a possibility of someone getting a positive for Covid-19 even after completing a 14- day quarantine as shared on Thai BPS World.
