Thai Doctor Deems 10 Provinces High-Risk Areas For COVID-19 Infections

Stricter restrictions put in place


Presently, the New Normal hasn’t normalised the strict regulations promised to prevent another spread of COVID-19. This includes temperature screenings and mandatory check-ins.

COVID-19 cases saw a dip for several months until mid-December, when a spike in infections started to hit the region.


10 high-risk provinces in Thailand


In a recent interview, Dr. Nattapol Pruatphongphan from Bangkok Hospital Phitsanulok named 10 high-risk provinces in Thailand. He advises those who have recently been to places on this list to be mindful of COVID-19 symptoms, like spikes in temperature or loss of taste and smell.
