New Thai Airways flight route
Update, 22 Dec: The flights have been cancelled due to a rise in COVID-19 cases in Thailand.
Ever since COVID-19 struck the tourism industry hard, Thai Airways has been creative with their contingency plans; from eco-friendly bag collections to Holy Flights.
Thai Airways has once again come up with something new for their New Year’s flights to put a smile on travellers’ faces.

3 hours of non-stop flying
The flight is exclusive for 1st January 2021, and Thai Airways will have bookings open until 28th December 2020 with fees at:
- Economy Class  ~฿6999 ( ~USD, 232.94)Â
- Royal Silk Class  ~฿12,999 ( ~USD 432.62)
Like the Holy Flights, you’ll get to chant your nam myoho renge kyo’s in the clouds. The prayer session is going to be led by a renowned Thai Culture Historian and Religion expert, Dr. Khata Chinbunchon.

The Thai Airways flight captain shared that this special flight route is going to fly over places in Northern Thailand and northeastern areas, loops back to Suvarnabhumi International Airport, drawing a heart on the map.
This creative and blessed experience aims to bring prosperity and love in the new year, pushing through the COVID chaos.
