Do not leave your bottle in public

We all know that we shouldn’t leave our possessions alone in public places, but we might not think that anyone is going to pay attention to a bottle of water left behind while jogging. After all, not everyone wants to run around with something in hand.
Take this incident as an example. A Thai jogger had left his water bottle at a public park bench while jogging, and only found out that he got poisoned after his jog.
Poison was injected into a water bottle
On 22nd June 2020, Etoriw Sibaht shared his experience to warn other joggers to not leave their consumable belongings such as bottles of water alone in public spaces while out to exercise.
This is something that is quite common for people to do as they can easily head back to their belongings to quench their thirst after some exercise.
Translation: Warning! Don’t leave your bottle at public parks. You might die of poisoning. (The post is quite long, but you should read it. I aim to share this experience to warn friends and others).
He revealed that this happened to him on 19th June at a public park in Nonthaburi. He had brought a bottle of water with him, and left it unopened at a field so he could drink up after his jog.

When he finished his exercise and drank the water, he thought it tasted weird. So, he stopped drinking it but still brought the bottle back home.
That night, he was dizzy, squeamish and had a problem with breathing. He finally found himself in an emergency room before losing consciousness completely.
Luckily, he was saved at the hospital and had been informed by doctors that he had gotten poisoned. The strange taste of the water immediately popped up in his head, so he went home to check it out.

After he found it, he reported this case to police officers but it still needed the concrete evidence. Now, his blood and water are being lab tested, and he decided to post about it immediately to warn people as soon as possible.
He felt that this was a plan of a criminal to rob him or to commit other violent acts.
Translation: If I drank any more water that day, I might not have had the chance to warn all of you. Now, I am waiting for the documents to confirm this incident and will update [you with] further details. Be careful and take care of yourself.
He is safe now, but this taught an important lesson to him and also us.
We should also be more cautious about spots in parks that are dark and isolated and not take our safety for granted.
