One’s wedding is a life event that most couples spend time planning to the T. And with it being such an important day, it’s no surprise that we want all our closest friends and family to be there to spend it with us.

This couple in Bangkok decided that their wedding wouldn’t be complete without their pet dog, upon which they lovingly bestowed the position of wedding witness to make it all the more special.

Meet Thames, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel that has since taken Thai social media by storm – probably for being the cutest wedding guest in history. His pawrents are Mr. Tharaput Kuhapremkit and Ms. Nittha Jirayungyurn – the latter is a Thai actress, so it’s no wonder Thames got some superstar treatment too.

Thames has been through lots with his pawrents, including their proposal which took place in July 2019. They also shared that Thames is just like a child to the couple, representing the strong bond between them.

After their wedding on 12th January 2020, the couple’s photos went viral on social media after netizens noticed Thames looking dapper at the ceremony. He even walked down the aisle with the couple and their flower girls.

We love seeing loving owners have their pets present during special occasions like weddings – after all, they’re family too. Just be ready for them to steal the spotlight!
