Thai boy steals cash from drawer
There are many good advantages of a security camera. One such example is that it helps monitor our premises when we’re not around.

Here’s the hilarious story of a boy in Thailand who was caught stealing cash from a drawer, but retuned it upon spotting a CCTV.

Boy in red pajamas enters a shop
On 9th March 2022, a woman named Bee Wassana posted video footage derived from a CCTV camera at her shop on her TikTok account, @Beehonny.
The CCTV footage showed a young man in red pajamas walking happily into what was said to be his mother’s store.
Just a moment later, he made a beeline to a cashier’s counter and looked both ways to check if there was someone around there before opening the drawer.
From his obvious actions, it’s very easy for us to guess what he intended to do next.
Boy appears to take cash from the drawer
As seen on the footage, the boy appeared to grab a bunch of cash from the drawer, before attempting to walk away silently.

Soon, as he realised that there was a security camera inside the shop, the would-be thief stopped momentarily and gradually turned to the camera.

When he realised that his actions were caught by the CCTV, he promptly returned the money back to where it had been.

After that, he contritely performed a wai by pressing his hands together, before bowing down in an apology directed at the camera.
Netizens discuss the boy’s journey in the viral clip
After the clip went viral on TikTok, amassing over 3.6 million views and 471K likes, many netizens speculated that there must have been someone setting an example for the boy to follow.

One netizen speculated that there must have been someone who had done something similar before. The clip’s owner replied that it must be the boy’s father.

The story is quite a hilarious one, with the boy coming full circle and realising the error of his ways before making a mistake.
