A glowing temple overlooks the Mekong River
If you visit the temple’s complex and stay until night sets in, you’ll witness photogenic raised patterns on the ground emitting green and blue glowing lights.
Furthermore, the prayer hall’s wall displays a green glowing painting of the Kalapapruek tree which comprises fluorescent substances that will absorb sunlight and emit light at night.
The tree was inspired by the Tree of Souls in Avatar – a famous science fiction film.
After taking photos of the glowing lights, you can enter the prayer hall to pay homage to the Buddha, and you’ll see a gold glowing pattern behind the Buddha.
