Getting a tattoo can sometimes go awry, especially if you’re imprinting words in a foreign language on your skin. Therefore, it’s important to make sure that you get the exact message you desire, and understand what they mean.
Take this case for an example, where 2 tourists went to get Thai tattoos with amusing connotations on their thighs. Many netizens were amused once they saw the final result and wondered if the tourists knew the true meaning of the phrases.

On 7th November 2022, two Venezuelan tourists went viral after a tattoo artist posted a picture of them getting matching tattoos in Thai before heading back to their country, reported Sanook. The tattoos, however, turned out to amuse many netizens as they could be translated into a strange turn of phrase – wait for it – namely:
“Usually, the dead like pussies”.
Due to the fact that the sentence sounded strange, many netizens questioned if they knew the true meaning of the sentence. Many were also wondering what was the reason behind their intentions of having this particular Thai sentence engraved on their skins forever.
Netizens were amused by the meaning of the tattoos
After the post was shared broadly, copious numbers of netizens came to leave funny comments about the tattoos.

Finally, one FB user jokingly expressed sympathy for the tourists.
We want to know the reason behind the tattoos too
Similar to many netizens, after reading the story and seeing the tattoos, we were curious to know what inspired them to get those funny sentences and if they really knew the meaning of them. On the other hand, it could be that someone tricked them into believing that they had a positive meaning, like one of the netizens commented above.
Finally, we hope they’ll like their tattoos regardless, and will still keep them – even if they find out about any surprise meanings in the future. And if you are interested in getting a tattoo like this, feel free to contact this FB page.
